Beringer
Distinctive quality that can only be created from the rustic, unspoiled vineyards and unique alluvial soils that make up Sonoma’s Knights Valley. Located 17 miles northwest of the winery, the Knights Valley vineyard has volcanic, well-drained soils that are perfectly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wine Enthusiast
An appealing wine showing likeable softness and flashy flavors. The palate brings cassis, mocha, licorice, sweet tobacco, sage, Asian spice and smoky oak; finishes long and rich. Notable for its superb structure

The Cabernet Sauvignon portfolio includes a very good value, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Knight’s Valley. This is a consistently rich, fruity effort offering notes of chocolate, black currants, herbs, and earth. Soft and silky-textured as well as voluminous in the mouth, it can be consumed over the next 7-8 years.
