The cade “Napa Cuvée” is a mouthful of a wine blended from Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and Merlot (25%). The Cabernet Sauvignon picked from the alluvial fans of Napa Valley lends dense flavors of blackberry, cherry, chocolate and blueberry while the Cabernet from the hillsides of Howell Mountain give the wine structure, depth and ageability. The Merlot component fleshes out the mid-palate and adds flavors of bing cherry and plum. Although this wine is crafted to be enjoyed now, it will shine with 2 more years of bottle age and reap the benefits over the following 5 to 7.
