Our reputation as a fine wine shop dates back to 1980 when my wife and I purchased Mandell's Liquor & Wine Shop in the beautiful temperate seaside community of Ventura, California. The store already had a background in fine and rare wine which we have enhanced and expanded. Our previous experience was eight years in the wholesale wine business so we approached this enterprise with a knowledge and keen appreciation of wine and the industry in general and have thoroughly enjoyed over 40 years in this interesting and fun world of wine.
