Domaine Drouhin
It is pretty and charming and graceful, like the 2004, but with a slightly more masculine character. On the nose, the wine is full of bright cherry and intense small red berry notes, with a hint of spice. The mouth feel is lush and round, and very balanced, as is the elegant, long finish. It is a wine to enjoy now, or any time over the next 6-12 years.
Wine Spectator
Crisp, with an open feel to the meaty cherry and blood orange flavors that persist nicely through a veil of fine tannins and linger on the refined finish. Best from 2009 through 2014.

Wine Advocate
The entry level 2006 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is medium ruby-colored with an attractive bouquet of wood smoke, spice box, cherry, and raspberry. This leads to a wine with an elegant personality marked by racy, savory red fruits, a silky texture, excellent balance, and a persistent, fruit-filled finish. Give it 2-3 years and drink it from 2010 to 2018.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
